Starring and directed by Ben Stiller, this very original comedy proves how limitless Ben Stiller's comedy talents are. Stiller plays Derek Zoolander a gone out of fashion (if you excuse the pun) male model who because of strong competition (Wilson) looses his cool. Overlooked upon cinema release this wacky take on the fashion industry sports some very funny moments as well as a whole line up of cameo appearances. Billy Zane, David Bowie and even the likes of Posh Spice show their faces, to name just a few. Owen Wilson as usual is very watchable but Stiller makes sure everyone knows it's his show. The film is by no means a master piece, the plot is only a vehicle to get from one gag to the next, but that doesn't really matter because the gags keep the film trundling along at a speedy pace. It's very stupid and from the start you know what the rest of the films going to be like, but that doesn't hamper the enjoyment one bit. Looking for a good no-nonsense laugh, hook up with Derek Zoolander, you won't be disappointed.
